Intro

Hello! I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics and Data Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. My current research focuses on spatial statistics and recursive computing approaches for fisheries data.

I received my PhD in Statistics from Colorado State University where I was co-advised by Mevin Hooten and Matthew Koslovsky. My dissertation work focused on computationally efficient Bayesian approaches for joint modeling of eclectic data sources. A primary application of this work was an integrated population model for lesser prairie-chicken that combined aerial, ground, and telemetry surveys to improve estimates of range-wide abundance.

I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Agricultural Biology at Colorado State University advised by Cynthia Brown and Mevin Hooten. I collaborated with BromeCast, an interdisciplinary team of researchers seeking to understand and predict the evolution of cheatgrass under climate change.
