Hello! I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics and Data Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. My current research focuses on spatial and computational statistics with applications to fisheries data.
I received my PhD in Statistics from Colorado State University, co-advised by Mevin Hooten and Matthew Koslovsky. My dissertation focused on computationally efficient Bayesian approaches for joint modeling of eclectic data sources. A primary application was an integrated population model for lesser prairie-chicken combining aerial, ground, and telemetry surveys.
I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Agricultural Biology at Colorado State University advised by Cynthia Brown and Mevin Hooten, collaborating with BromeCast to understand the evolution of cheatgrass under climate change.
